Becoming a surrogate
Becoming a gestational surrogate is one of the most selfless gifts a woman can give to another. While this is a tremendous honor, it’s also a serious responsibility. That’s why we expect our surrogates to be mature adults who have stable home lives, are responsible, and demonstrate honest behavior. These qualifications give the pregnancy the best chance to be healthy and successful.
Surrogate Pregnancy
There are two types of surrogate pregnancy—traditional and gestational. Traditional surrogates are artificially inseminated with the father’s sperm. Gestational surrogacy, on the other hand, is a bit more complicated. Invitro fertilization (IVF) allows a mother’s egg to be fertilized with a father’s sperm, placing the embryo into the surrogate’s uterus.
At A Dream Come True Surrogacy, we take advantage of both of these techniques to help enable surrogate pregnancy and help intended parents start their families. As a surrogate, you can give the gift of life to someone in need.
If you want to become a surrogate in California, preparation is key. This involves completing your application, getting background checks and medical exams, plus researching compensation and the legal process surrounding surrogacy. At A Dream Come True Surrogacy, we handle as much of the surrogacy process as possible, especially preparation.
